The Beretta AX800 Suprema is a modern semi-automatic shotgun developed specifically for demanding waterfowl hunting environments. It combines Beretta’s B-LINK® Pro gas operating system, Steelium® Pro barrel technology, and Kick-Off® Pro recoil-management system in a weather-resistant platform designed for challenging outdoor conditions.

At the center of the AX800 Suprema is the B-LINK® Pro gas system. According to Beretta, the system is engineered to cycle a broad range of loads, from lighter target loads through heavy 3.5-inch waterfowl loads. Its redesigned gas ports and anti-sticking piston treatment are intended to reduce fouling and simplify maintenance compared with earlier Beretta semi-automatic systems.

The shotgun features a Steelium® Pro barrel, a technology originally developed for Beretta’s high-performance sporting platforms. The barrel incorporates an extended 450 mm forcing cone, which Beretta says contributes to consistent shot patterns, energy retention, and reduced recoil and muzzle movement.

Recoil management is another defining feature. The AX800 Suprema incorporates Kick-Off® Pro, a hydraulic recoil-reduction system integrated into the stock. Beretta states that the system can reduce felt recoil by up to 70 percent while also allowing adjustments to stock fit, including length of pull, drop, and cast. The cheek piece and pistol grip can also be changed to accommodate different users.

The receiver is constructed from glass-fiber-reinforced polymer, providing a weather-resistant platform intended for exposure to water, mud, and cold conditions. The design also incorporates an integrated optic interface, while the B-Lok® magazine cap is designed to simplify disassembly and cleaning.

The AX800 Suprema is offered in configurations including Camo MAX-7, Optifade Timber, and Optifade Marsh. The current model is chambered in 12 gauge with a 3.5-inch chamber.
